Mani Lakonia began in 1985 with love and passionate beekeeping. As the years passed, the love and passion became worship and lifestyle.

Year after year, with knowledge, expertise and experience , we increased the number of beehives and by the year 1989 , the company was active in all aspects of production , packaging and marketing of honey products , having also moved our headquarters to Athens , with new modern facilities.

This big decision to move , not only changed the habits of our own lives but the habits of all consumers of honey and gave new meaning to the term “Pure Greek “Honey.”

Since then , with honey Mani produced in Greece , it went on to become a household name with Greek honey connoiseurs , winning the first place in the hearts of our numerous Greeks and Overseas clientele .

Today, our company is ranked as one of the largest honey producer and distributor firms in Greece and is of course officially recognized by the appropriate Greek honey production and standardization authorities , with our products having gained ( and continuing to gain ) , a significant market share being distributed throughout Greece and abroad, having become easily identifiable as well as having earned the trust of consumers , by virtue of our impecab!e quality .

Our goal within the next year , is to further highlight the high nutritional value of Mediterranean and especially traditional Greek honey products to even more consumers in Greece and abroad.

For the last three hundred years , saffron Kozanis is grown and developed exclusively in Kozani (north village of Greece)and to its excellent quality , it is classified as the best organic saffron in the world P.D.O. product.
